Change

Four years ago, I quit my job as webmaster at CEDHA with the idea of following my dreams and founding my own web design studio: SimpleLogic Interactive Design.

In these years, I had the pleasure to work with clients all over the world, mostly in the United States and recently in Europe. Besides designing, I also managed to write articles for Users (probably the most famous IT magazine in South America), speak in seminars, and recently, teach in an university. An interesting and long journey, if you ask me.

However, in September, I was approached with an offer I couldn’t resist: A full time position as User Interface Designer for Trade2Win, the leading community website and portal for active traders seeking to profit from stocks, futures, options and forex. With more than 140000 registered users and an average of 1.5 million visits a month, Trade2Win is, without any doubt, a big challenge for me.

On the other hand, accepting the job involved a deep step in my carrer: To be able to stop, or hold my activities in the studio and start working full-time for a single project and its aside initiatives.

While being in Europe, I visited Trade2Win offices in London, and couldn’t be more excited to work for the company. All the team is great. Each day becomes more and more fascinating. And I really feel that I can contribute with all I’ve learnt in these four years.

So what’s next? Only time will tell. For now, I’m excited for what’s going on in the present. You know, my heart still likes to entrepreneur, so in my free time I will still be thinking in things to do or release as my own.

But again, only time will tell.
